ABOUT ME
ELISABETTA MARIOTTI
I am an Interior Designer with a passion for style and comfort. I was born and raised in Rome, Italy, where I pursued the study of foreign languages, Travel and Tourism Management, and Italian literature, art and history. By simply walking the streets of Rome, I unconsciously trained my eye to appreciate the beauty and balance innate to the elements and principles of design.
As many say, "Life is what happens to us when we are making other plans”, and so it did for me. While traveling to northern Italy for business, I met an American expat at a trade show in Venice. We fell in love at first sight and, after some years, I left Italy and we were married in Laguna Beach, California. I loved this "art colony" with its unique art galleries and artist studios, and just there, I realized my passion for design and turned it into an exciting career as an interior designer.
I took my formal degree from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, and I keep myself updated by participating in international design fairs and events in Italy. I'm also a member of the IIDA, International Interior Design Association Southern California Chapter.
I now live in San Juan Capistrano, California with my husband and our three children where I balance my love for great design with a strong commitment to my family.
ABOUT THE STUDIO
Elisabetta’s design studio was founded in 2016, bringing together her Italian design heritage and a contemporary approach to California living. The studio offers tailored interior design services, both in person and virtually, with a focus on creating sophisticated, functional spaces that reflect each client’s individual style and way of life.
Drawing on an ongoing connection to Italy and Europe,
Elisabetta brings a distinctly European perspective to her work, incorporating contemporary design, innovative materials, and thoughtfully curated furnishings and finishes.
Through relationships with Italian artisans, manufacturers, and European furnishing suppliers, the studio provides clients with access to distinctive products and design solutions that bring European elegance to homes in California and beyond.
Today, Elisabetta Mariotti Interior Design represents the natural evolution of that vision—bridging European elegance and California living while offering design services to clients locally and worldwide.
